Altamonte Springs (Florida) was awarded the 2017 WateReuse Association Innovative Project of the Year. Carollo was on-hand at the conference to accept the award on behalf of Ed Torres and Jo Ann Jackson from Altamonte Springs. A HUGE thank you to the City engineering and operations staff for their vision and dogged determination, to project co-funders at the St. Johns River Water Management District, to FDEP, to our team members (Southern Nevada Water Authority, UC Davis, Trussell Technologies, Pace Analytical), to the equipment suppliers (Hach, Trojan, Xylem, Biwater, Toray, Calgon), and to all others that provided support. This project was a resounding success because of the dedication and collaboration of the team.
