The three month open platform MF/UF demonstration is nearly done in Palo Alto. Carollo and ReNew water staff shown here, as we work through the last legs of the research. Key findings focus on the impact of variable and unpredictable turbidity spikes, which membranes respond best, how often (and how to) clean the membranes, and the value of chemical pretreatment (e.g., ferric). Many thanks to ReNew for funding this effort, Palo Alto for provide space, water, and assistance, and H₂O Innovations, the owner of the pilot and our constant collaborator.
