The last purification process (UV/NaOCl) is now operational (see blue glow after UV) for the PureWaterSF potable water reuse demonstration system at the SFPUC headquarters. After two years of planning, grant applications, design, and installation, the system is now making new water (for demonstration only!). Thank you to all involved, including the dedicated operations staff at SFPUC, for this great success.
