At last week's Texas Water 2014 Conference, Letty (Dallas Office) was honored as AWWA Texas' newest Maverick.
The award is given by the Texas section to an individual who "exemplifies qualities in volunteerism, community involvement, leadership, and outstanding service in the science of water supply, treatment, operations, and water quality."
The best part is that, unlike other industry awards, this one is kept secret until the actual announcement at the conference. While we have no video footage, we trust Letty ascended the stage with a bit more coordination than some people.
